Who we are

Divorce Guide USA sells an educational, self-serve organizer for people preparing for a California divorce. Divorce Guide USA is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. This is general educational information about California and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed California attorney about your situation.

What we collect

  • Account information: the email address you use at checkout and a password you set afterwards.
  • Toolkit content: anything you type into the modules — assets, debts, retirement plans, income and expenses, dates, notes, and checklist progress.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Basic usage data: pages viewed and referral/campaign parameters, used to understand which ads work.

How your toolkit information is stored

Your toolkit content is stored against your account only. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access rules restrict every record to the account that created it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone — including your spouse — except where we are legally required to.

Service providers

We use a payment processor to take payment and issue receipts, and a hosting and database provider to run the product. These providers process data only to deliver the service.

Deleting your data

You can delete your toolkit content and your account at any time from your account settings, or by emailing help.divorceguide@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent. We may keep basic transaction records where required for tax and accounting.

Advertising

We may use advertising pixels to measure ad performance. These record that a visit or purchase happened; they do not receive the content you enter into the toolkit.

Your rights

California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, and may ask us not to sell or share it — we do not sell or share personal information. Contact help.divorceguide@gmail.com to make a request.
